Plain answers

When does AWS WorkMail stop working?
AWS ends support for Amazon WorkMail on 31 March 2027. After that date you can no longer reach the WorkMail console or its resources. It stopped accepting new customers on 30 April 2026.
Who is Folio a good WorkMail replacement for?
One person who handles mail for one or more business domains and replies as each business. It is not a fit for teams, shared calendars or delegated mailboxes; those need groupware such as Zoho Mail, Kopano Cloud, Zoom Mail, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
What does Folio move from WorkMail?
Mail, over IMAP, with an app password you enter once. Calendars and contacts are not imported; export them from WorkMail separately.

Deadline from AWS's end-of-support notice, checked 11 October 2026. Folio is independent and is not an AWS partner.
